Recovery Day
A very lazy day in Prague.
We walked around a bit.
That’s about it. Prague is
perhaps the most beautiful major city in Europe, and it used to be a kind of
cheap “travel secret,” but that’s changed tremendously over the past
decade. I was in Prague a couple
days two years ago when I studied in Austria, and it may just be coincidence or
my imagination, but it seemed much more crowded this time, even though the
weather was kind of lousy. It’s
still a wonderful place, though.
In the evening, we did a bar crawl and got to know some of
the least Irish Irish people I’ve ever met – one of whom had never tasted
Guinness and another who doesn’t drink.
They were all really lovely people, nevertheless.
